Dunning-Kruger Effect
For the Dunning Kruger effect I wanted to do a photo shoot of someone very well put together but also a mess behind her and a lot going on in the room so I have her dressed up very nice and clean because that’s how she sees herself and she doesn’t understand that she can’t do everything. In the picture, I have her in an office and an office attire because I’m trying to show that’s what she’s good at, but she has a nail filer and also a white gadget that’s used for Teeth Whitening next to her while she’s trying to do office work all at once. So she’s very well put together because that’s how she sees herself but in reality there’s just a storm all around her because she doesn’t notice that she can’t do everything.
Imposter Syndrome
For the imposter syndrome, I wanted to dress her up with ripped clothes, pants with stains on them to show that’s how she’s feeling on the inside but then on the outside in her office, I wanted to show it very neat and put together. I feel like I’ve had imposter syndrome where I start a new job and I feel like everyone around me does their work so much better than me I question how I even got the job because I suddenly forget how to do things. I’m normally good at I mess them up, but I do realize it’s all in my head and I’m probably just nervous. So I showed her looking like a mess to show that it’s all in her head but in reality everything around her looks like she’s doing a good job. It’s all put together and everything's ok.
